Trattoria Villa Pizzati

I can only say that I ate very well. The managers were always around to check that everything was fine. Quality food at a fair price. A place located in Castelvecchio, at the top of Valdagno, with a view of the valley and at the bottom you find the grappa massif and looking towards the left the Asiago area. Go and enjoy the good food.

Super location even if it takes a bit of a drive to get there. You can see all of Valdagno from above (if I'm not mistaken). There is a huge garden with well-kept flowers outside and a wooden building where you can eat right outside but with a roof in case of bad weather. In the summer the two large internal rooms are left open so around 10pm on the hottest days a nice breeze comes in from the back door. The menu does not have many variations, a few dishes per step but their strong point is the grilled meat. Let me start by saying that I had booked 3 weeks in advance, also indicating where we wanted the table and in the end we were not given the agreed one (?) but you were fine with it anyway. As for food intolerances, the staff knows so-so, so if you have celiac disease you can order grilled meat and you're safe, as well as the side dishes. They had known for weeks that there was a celiac but I couldn't find any gluten-free breadsticks or bread. Furthermore, I was told that I could have the risotto but the presence of gluten was indicated on the menu. As a gluten-free appetizer on offer there was a very simple cold parmigiana, both my friend and I were satisfied, the basil pesto poured on top was very good. For second the tagliatelle and I must say it was special. I think it's one of the best I've eaten in my life and I've eaten a lot of cuts as it's a dish often offered in places that cook on the grill and as a gluten-free option. Here perhaps a portion is small for an adult. Optimal would be 1 and a half. The side dishes were peas, potatoes, seasonal courgettes. For dessert I was able to have a creme brulee and a coffee. Well-stocked wine list. There were 4 of us and we had a total of 4 starters, 4 slices, 1 bottle of Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso for 22 euros, a bottle of Franciacorta for 30 euros, 4 coffees, 4 bitters and we spent 198 euros. In my opinion the price is right! Thanks see you next time!! Update after 6 months we returned. Delicious cuisine as always.

Nice evening in a nice location! Food very good! Really only the smallest deductions in the B grade... Light a bit very bright, unfortunately no candles on the table, service very nice, menu unfortunately only in Italian, but it's really an area with few tourists, very nice boss, there was one at the counter Farewell Limocello! We'd love to come back'

I had the pleasure of dining at Villa Pizzati and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of the evening was the rib eye, simply delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender and succulent, with a flavor that makes your mouth water just thinking about it. The atmosphere in this restaurant is welcoming and the staff is friendly and attentive. Additionally, the extensive menu offers a variety of options to please all tastes. Desserts to improve. I highly recommend Villa Pizzati to all lovers of good food. I can't wait to go back to try more delicacies!
